halcyonallsion asked: I am also (almost) 20 and this past week I've read all the books up until Ingleside, which I'm in the middle of and I've watched the movies too! Their story has had such a formative influence on my life and I am so glad others appreciate it too! And I'm going up to PEI and Nova Scotia and Maine for two weeks this summer and I CAN NOT WAIT!

alidawn asked: I'm also a 20 (almost anyway) year old girl from the maritimes in love with Anne and Gilbert! :)
rhythmandsounds asked: I once chanced upon Anne when my aunt gave me her first 2 books at age 10. After which I obsessively hunted for the remaining 5 books and relished reading all of them too. I'm now 20 and this blog is reminding of all the wonderful things I loved about her. I'm going to start reading her again, with greater appreciation for her. We all long to live out the love story of Anne and Gilbert!...

In literature, there are rogues such as Rhett Butler from Gone With the Wind, lovelorns like Romeo Montague from Romeo & Juliet, and lying Casanovas such as Edward Rochester from Jane Eyre. While I find all of these men fascinating and sometimes despicable, one of my favorite men from…
